As a Strategy Specialist, Tamara likes to uncover user needs and is passionate about finding the right questions that open creative possibilities. She uses her strategy expertise and creative mindset to hunt for inspiring designs that live across a brand’s ecosystem. She has an eye for emerging trends and is always tinkering to discover what’s next in the design world.
Tamara holds a BBA in Strategic Design and Management from Parsons School of Design - The New School in Paris, and studied innovation and business strategy at the Bocconi University in Milan. Prior to joining AREA 17, Tamara interned as a product marketer at Maison Margiela Fragrances (L’Oréal) and as a brand strategist at Landor & Fitch.
Born in Lebanon, Tamara grew up speaking French, English and Arabic. She enjoys meeting new people, listening to stories, and discovering cultures. She uses her love for photography to tell these stories and bring people together. She was part of the winning team of the MIT innovation challenge in 2020 where she conceptualized in a team of 7 an air filtration device that could solve pollution issues in the world. Tamara is a dreamer at heart, you’ll also find her going on walks that never end around the city of Paris.
